What problem led you to seek out coaching?: I felt like I was at a crossroads in my life. All my actions were done to benefit the expectations and feelings of people around me. This lead to passive aggressiveness, anxiety, and a feeling of indifference. I needed to learn to start making decisions that made me happy.

Was there anything you were afraid of when you started coaching sessions?: I was afraid that I would not have a connection with my therapist. If I thought they were unprepared or not listening or not Interacting, I feel that I would have been turned off to the whole experience and not continued with sessions.

What made you feel comfortable enough to leap with me?: Honestly, I don't know. You have an easy way about you. I felt like I was talking to a friend....not a therapist. I imagine I felt that way because you are prepared, interactive, and provide immediate incite to my issues.

What are three words you would use to describe yourself before coaching?: Fake/fraud, indifferent, indecisive, anxious

What was the overall feeling you got from me during coaching sessions?: Safe...I felt you were on my side to get me to a better place in my mental health journey. No judgment...just work to get me better.

What kind of breakthroughs did you experience, if any?: I realized that my desire for everyone to like and accept me most likely came from my parents’ divorce as a child. I did "the right" thing all the time for my father's piece of mind more than mine.

What are three words you would use to describe now that you are well along your journey with me (or maybe you've completed your journey with me for now.): Self-aware, decisive, anxious

What was this experience like for you?: It was and is an enlightening experience. I know men don't like to ask for help or admit they need help. I should have asked for help years ago....It would have saved me a lot of wasted years and anxiety.

How has coaching affected your relationship with your children?: I listen more. Try to teach, not preach.
It's still a work in progress.

How has coaching affected your relationship with your significant other?: A huge effect. I was trapped in my head from communicating my dreams and worries because I didn't think she would understand my feelings. It was mostly all in my head....she's on my team as much as I am on hers.

What would you tell someone curious about seeking out coaching but apprehensive?: Just try it...the worst that can happen is you stay exactly where you are now. But maybe....maybe you will get with a therapist that can help you move forward.

Is there anything else I could have done to enhance your experience as a client?: No....it was extremely positive. I feel very blessed to have been referred to you.

On a scale of 1-5, 1 being not so good, 5 being excellent, How would you rate your experience with me?: 5 stars - Excellent.

Is there anything else you'd like to add?: Thank you very much, and I will continue my treatment.
