Couples Coaching Client Experience
Sometimes we know we want support, but we are afraid of opening up to someone. Sometimes we know we want someone to listen and help guide us to our wisdom - but we aren’t sure if the investment will be worth it. Sometimes we are just plain scared to let someone see all of who we are.
I completely understand.
If you are curious about becoming a client, I want to give you a behind-the-scenes look at the transformation my clients go through.
Here you’ll find in-depth testimonials from former clients.
Take your time and when you’re ready, book a free 30 minute session - and let’s get you on the road to being your most joyful, free, and authentic self.
What problem led you to seek out coaching?
We are in a relationship for 4 years and things are "well", but I felt blocked in envisioning and actual future together.
We both felt it came to the point where support could help us move forward.
Was there anything you were afraid of when you started coaching sessions?
There was a balance of excitement and fear.
We both have had individual therapy so the concept didn't scare us anymore, even though I noticed I wasn't fully in tune with it yet.
I wasn't sharing it with my friends before I embraced it myself.
I definitely felt some positive reinforcement because it came to the point where I realized, this may really do a lot for us and myself individually.
What made you feel comfortable enough to take the leap with me?
My girlfriend has worked with Catia before, so we decided to go with a trial session.
This really helped, because we had other trials and both of us didn't feel connected to those at all.
My partner already felt aligned with Catia, and I genuinely felt it as well from the trial session.
What are three words you would use to describe yourself before coaching?
-stuck ("how to move forward with the relationship/powerlessness")
- self-blame ("why am I not ready for this future commitment?")
- unclear ("what do I actually want?")
What was the overall feeling you got from me during coaching sessions?
Safety, welcomed, and commitment.
What I really enjoyed about Catia's facilitation is how she kept our goals in mind, while being flexible.
She was able to improvise, while we worked towards what we wanted to get out of the session.
I also felt she was really there for 'us', while I feel some therapists also have an interest in proving themselves - Catia gave me no such impression.
It was safe, powerful and I every time I really looked forward to each session.
What kind of breakthroughs did you experience if any?
What do I actually want out of my love relationship
- I was conditioned as the "difficult" kid, so identifying what I really want is what I tend to question
- that having a 3rd person in the room, when we as a couple discuss our challenges, is a game-changer
What are three words you would use to describe now that you are well along your journey with me (or maybe you've completed your journey with me for now.)
-clarity
- confidence
- courage
What was this experience like for you?
It was one of the best personal investments I've ever made.
I remember saying after one of the first sessions to my partner: "even if we're not meant to be, there's so much I'm learning about myself in these sessions".
One-on-one therapy is already wonderful, doing it with your partner gives a whole different perspective.
Especially with Catia.
How has coaching affected your relationship with your children?
We have no children at the moment.
How has coaching affected your relationship with your significant other?
On a big level.
We communicate differently and understand so much more about each other.
I feel we can now speak with more distance about the issues we face, and there's more mutual trust when doing so.
What would you tell someone who is curious about seeking out coaching, but apprehensive?
It'll be one of the best things you'll ever do.
I feel everyone would benefit 100% from coaching, whether they're feeling strong challenges or not.
Is there anything else I could have done to enhance your experience as a client?
After the last session, perhaps send us off with your notes of the experience we had together.
As your perspective is super valuable and can help us individually and as a couple, and give us anchor points for reflection.
On a scale of 1-5, 1 being not so good, 5 being excellent How would you rate your experience with me?
5 stars - Excellent
Is there anything else you'd like to add?
Thanks so much for this life-changing experience.
Hi friend!
I'm Catia, a woman, wife, mama, sister, sister friend, you know -- I wear a million hats just like you.
One of my biggest whys is that I want people to feel good about ALL of who they are. Including you.
The threads running through all my work (I’m an author - The Courage to Become, I’m a motivational and TEDx speaker, Choose Joy or Die , I am a Conscious Coach ) are hope, joy, and empowerment.
If I could choose ten words that best describe me I would say: honest, welcoming, giving, curious, loving, earnest, empathetic, spiritual, playful, and sassy. Let's add: adventurous. That's 11.
Nice to meet you!
